Woke up at 7:40 A.M.  10 hours of sleep!  Oh, that feels so good!

Went up flying around 9:00-ish.  More maneuvers.  Vmc, power-off stalls, slow flight, engine failure, landing with one engine, all the good stuff.  It's goin' pretty good, I just need to get tight on the actual checklist memory items on some of the maneuvers.  What to do to enter the maneuvers and then recover.

Flew 0.9 today.

Another absolutely gorgeous day.  It's really hard to believe.  Seriously, I didn't know this was possible in Kansas.  Three days in a row of very little wind and sunshine!  I'll take that any day of the week!

Went out to eat with Gavin today.  Kind of a poor excuse for a Chinese buffet!  Now I know why Jacob was so excited last week at our buffet in Springfield!  Chanute's is tiny!

Celebrated the weather by picking up my motorcycle from the shop!  Finished this morning!  A new front tire.  And I rode 60 miles on it today!  Went over to Erie, Kansas, to the courthouse to get it tagged.

It's so nice to be on a bike again!  Went to a baseball game, watched some TERRIBLE baseball.  Oh, wow, it was not pretty at all.  Some Chanute high school team...freshmen, maybe?  I had to leave because I think I was becoming  a worse player just by watching.

Tried to be outside most of the day.  Simply beautiful!

Went out storm-chasing with Travis tonight.  Watched lightning north of town for about an hour.  Gorgeous.

Listening to thunder and lightning as I type right now.  Looks like the calm winds are goin' to be gone!

Went to bed at 3:30 after talking to a friend for quite awhile...
